5 nights – 6 days of thermal relax to discover the Euganean Hills
Day 1 – Arrival at the Hotel
Arrival in the thermal hotel 3* in Abano Terme (PD), accommodation in the room and free time to relax in the thermal pools of the hotel.
Day 2 – Arquà Petrarca
The most beautiful middle Age Village of Veneto will enchant you with its magic atmosphere and the little streets. Here you will be accompanied by the Local Tour Leader, to the discovery of the village and its history. We’ll start with the visit of the House of Francesco Petrarca, one of the fathers of Italian language, who spent here the last part of its life. Then we continue with a tasting of typical products: first we’ll have a tasting of olive oil in an olive oil mill and then we’ll taste “Brodo di Giuggiole”, typical liquor made of jujubes.
Day 3 – Tour to discover the pearls of the Euganean Hills
First, we’ll visit the Monumental Garden of Valsanzibio, an immense symbolic garden of the XVIth century, elected a few years ago, the most beautiful Garden in Italy, encircled completely with the panorama and the sinuous curves of the Euganean Hills. Here, the fountains, the statues, the lush boulevards, and the labyrinth are joined in a symbolic path of relief from the pities. With different steps from the Gate of Diana, until the Statue of the Time and the fountain of the Dolphins the visitor is guided along the symbolical relief from his pities.
After we’ll visit Villa dei Vescovi in Luvigliano di Torreglia: a precious stone nestled in the Euganean Hills. Villa dei Vescovi, ancient residence of the prelates of Padua, was built in the middle of the XVth century and is the result of many transformations, decorations, expansions. It’ll be exciting being enchanted by the harmony how Villa dei Vescovi is lied with the surrounding panorama and by the beauty of the Euganean Hills seen from the big arches and the pensile courtyard. Inside of the Villa we’ll cross the noble rooms as the sleeping rooms, the sitting rooms, and the big and bright salon where our eyes will be gladded by the marvellous cycle of frescos with a bucolic theme painted by Lambert Sustris. During the visits you’ll be accompanied by the Local Tour Leader
Day 4 – Relax in thermal pools
One day completely dedicated to you. Spend some hours in peace in the thermal pools and enjoy a beauty treatment in the wellness area of the Hotel.
Day 5 – Padua
A tour to discover the real Padua. Accompanied by the Local Tour Leader you’ll discover the real Padua. The Padua made of hidden alleys, of breath-taking views, of marvellous reflections in the canals of the city, and the poetical shadows of the medieval porticos. We’ll know how it is to live as a real insider, as a “padovano DOC”. Real Paduan people drink espresso in the historical Coffee Pedrocchi and have aperitif with” bianchetto” (still white wine usually on tap) under the “Salone” of the Palazzo della Ragione: so we’ll take you have a little tasting of wine and traditional “cicchetti”.
The lovers of art, history and culture could visit also the Padua Baptistery, frescoed at the end of ‘300 by Giusto de’ Menabuoi, the popular Basilica of Saint Antony, the Palazzo della Ragione, The Bo Palace that is the most ancient building of the University of Padua, the second oldest University in Italy that is proud to have all the departments except architecture (the entrance tickets of the monuments listed are not included in the price). At the end you conclude with an unforgettable place, also symbol of the city: The Scrovegni Chapel that enchant the visitors with its frescos by Giotto and its vault that seem a starry night. In that époque Enrico Scrovegni called Giotto to decorate the small church near his majestic palace in the surrounding of the ancient Arena. With this work Giotto obtained global fame. After the visit of the Chapel don’t miss the Civic Museum of Padua: an art gallery with more of 500 paintings from the Collection of Emo Capodilista, archaeological sections, sculptures and all the other beautiful masterpieces preserved in this museum like the wooden Cross of Giotto and the angelic hosts of the court painters of the family Da Carrara, Guariento di Arpo.
Day 6 – Departure
Enriched of positive energies in the soul, you can come back home with a baggage of beautiful memories.

-5 nights-stay in thermal 3* hotel (overnight stay and breakfast) in double room per person,
-1 accompanied half-day tour to Arquà Petrarca per person: 1 entrance ticket and visit to the House of Petrarch, visit and tasting of olive oil in an olive oil mill, visit of the laboratory of a producer of typical products with tasting.
– 1 accompanied half-day tour to Padua with visit of the centre of the city, a “break alla padovana” per person, an entrance ticket to the Cappella degli Scrovegni,
