    You will begin your tour to discover the true story of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ with a guided tour of Villa Da Porto Barbaran in Montorso Vicentino, linked to Count Luigi Da Porto, author of the famous story between the two lovers that was the inspiration for the tragedy ‘Romeo and Juliet’ by the playwright Shakespeare.
    From the windows of the Villa you will see the two Scaliger fortresses of Bellaguardia and Villa, which the novel tells us were the strongholds of the Montecchi and Capuleti families.

    For lunch you will move to a winery in Montorso Vicentino where you will have a wine tasting, a visit to the winery and a walk in the vineyard.

    In the afternoon you will head to Montecchio Maggiore for a visit to the medieval castles of Romeo and Juliet where your guide will tell you their interesting story. You will conclude the tour with a visit to Le Priare Caves, caves once used for the extraction of karst stone, which with their unique shapes intrigue the most experienced speleologists.

    The experience includes:

    OPENING TIMES OF THE MONUMENTS: Some monuments are not always open. If you are interested in visiting a special monument, tell us in the moment of request of quotation. In case you don’t asked us, the agency cannot be retained as responsible.

    TRANSFER SERVICES: The transfer service for the client, if done with the Minivan of the agency, is included as a transfer service for free and carried out for courtesy only in order to full fill the necessities of the tour. 

    WEATHER: The tour takes place even in case of bad weather. If the tour is cancelled it is to protect your safety. The tours to Venice take place even in case of high water.

    LANGUAGES SPOKEN DURING THE TOURS: Tours could be held in multiple languages at the same time.

    RESPECT FOR TIMETABLES AND GROUPS: With the confirmation of the tour, you accept the timetable indicated in the program. In order to have an above-board tour, it will not be possible to change the timetable except it is a decision of the tour leader.
