Get your team involved in making a short film and learn the art of filmmaking from scratch.
Among the arts, cinema is the least individualistic and the one where teamwork is most important. Making a short film requires different roles: director, actors, screenwriters, and technicians. This encourages people to collaborate spontaneously, drawing on everyone’s skills. In the film industry, in fact, professional roles take a back seat. This helps foster more authentic relationships and break down barriers.
The group will therefore be involved in all stages of production, namely:
Concept and writing: we start with an idea, refining, exploring, and reworking it until we arrive at the film’s plot and screenplay.
Filming on set: a real film set is set up, where each participant is assigned a role, from director to lighting technician, from actor to cinematographer.
Editing: learning the basics of editing software and the techniques of “storytelling through images”
Duration: The project can be carried out by a single team, dividing the three phases over three days. Alternatively, three different work groups can be formed, with each group assigned a single phase.
The end result is a finished product (the video) that the team can review and share. This provides a tangible sense of satisfaction and strengthens the group’s identity.
