Everyone knows Venice. St. Mark’s Square. Rialto Bridge. The Grand Canal. The gondolas.

But there is another Venice — the Venice of quiet alleyways, neighborhood markets, historic workshops, tiny cafés and traditional bacari where locals stop for a drink and a cicchetto. That’s the Venice we want to show you.

We’ll explore Cannaregio and the historic Jewish Ghetto, walk through quieter streets and discover traditional shops and antique stores.  Then we’ll make our way toward San Polo and Rialto, discovering the famous market and some of the hidden corners that are easy to miss when you’re exploring Venice on your own.

If you wish you can stop at a traditional bacaro to try cicchetti — Venice’s small, flavorful  traditional tapas — before continuing toward St. Mark’s Square and the Bridge of Sighs.

🏨 From Abano and Montegrotto Terme. Staying at the Spas? We’ll take care of the transportation. We’ll pick you up directly at your hotel in our minivan. At the end of the tour, we’ll take you back to your hotel. No need to worry about cars, parking, or logistics—just enjoy the tour.

📍 From Padua. Staying in Padua? We’ll meet at the train station. 

🚆 From Venice. Staying in Venice? After the booking you will receive the exact meeting point.

• From the box on the right side of the page, select the number of participants using the (+) button.
• From the calendar, select your desired date. Available dates are green.
• Select the time*:
  For departures from Abano Terme and Montegrotto, select: 9:00 a.m.
  For the meeting point in Padua, select: 9:50.
  For departures from Venice, select: 10.30
• Once you’ve selected the time, click “Add to Cart” and then “Go to Cart.”
• Enter your information and proceed to checkout.
• If your purchase was successful, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

• How long does the tour last? From Padua, Abano, and Montegrotto, the tour lasts about 8 hours.
• Is the train ticket included? Yes. The fare for departures from Abano, Montegrotto, and Padua includes a round-trip train ticket to Venice.
• Will we go inside any museums or monuments in Venice? No. The tour is designed primarily to experience Venice outdoors, strolling through its narrow streets, neighborhoods, markets, and iconic sites. Any admission fees to museums, churches, or monuments are not included.
• Is lunch included? No. Lunch is not included in the tour price. If you’d like, your tour leader can recommend some restaurants or bacari where you can sample traditional Venetian cuisine.
• Does the tour take place even when it rains? Yes, the tour proceeds as scheduled even in case of bad weather. We therefore recommend that you dress appropriately and bring an umbrella or a waterproof jacket.
• What happens in case of high water in Venice? The itinerary may be modified depending on conditions in the city; alternatively, if conditions prevent the tour from taking place, you will receive a refund.
• Can I take the tour with a stroller? Venice has many bridges and steps, so the route may be difficult to navigate with a traditional stroller. If you’re traveling with small children, we recommend contacting us before booking so we can work together to find the best solution.
• What should I bring with me? We recommend comfortable shoes, a small bottle of water, and clothing appropriate for the weather. If you’re departing from Padua or Terme Euganee, please also bring a valid ID or a photo/copy of it for train ticket verification.
• Can I change the departure time? The times specified at the time of booking must be adhered to; any delays on the customer’s part could result in missing the train and, consequently, the tour.
• Can this experience be organized for groups or companies? Yes. The experience can also be offered to groups and companies, with the option to create customized packages based on the number of participants and the group’s needs. Email us at: info@lovivo.it.

EXPLANATIONS DURING TOURS: Only a licensed tour guide may provide explanations about the city, monuments, and museums. The tour escort, on the other hand, provides assistance and accompanies you to the most beautiful spots in the location chosen for your tour. TRANSFER SERVICE: The customer transfer service, when requested and if operated using the Agency’s own vehicles, is provided as a courtesy and is limited to the operational needs of conducting the tour. For packages that include train tickets: In the event of a public transportation strike, please contact us for alternative solutions or to cancel. If no alternatives are available, we will cancel the tour and issue a refund in advance. The cost of any train tickets already purchased will be retained and will not be refunded. WEATHER: The tour will take place even in bad weather unless the agency decides otherwise to ensure your safety. LANGUAGES SPOKEN DURING TOURS: Tours may be conducted in two languages simultaneously. ADHERENCE TO SCHEDULES AND GROUPS: By confirming your tour reservation, you accept the times indicated in the itinerary; to ensure the tour runs smoothly, it will not be possible to change the schedule unless the tour leader decides otherwise.
