Discover Vicenza, the elegant UNESCO World Heritage city known as the City of Palladio, on a half-day tour. With direct transportation from the hotels in Padua and Abano,  and a small group of no more than 8 people, you’ll explore the heart of the city at a relaxed pace and discover the stories behind its most remarkable landmarks.

Vicenza is an elegant UNESCO World Heritage city in the Veneto region, famous worldwide as the masterpiece of Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. It offers stunning architecture, rich culture, and world-class food without the overwhelming crowds of neighboring Venice

Your experience begins with a walk through the historic center of Vicenza, where Palladio’s architecture blends naturally with the medieval fabric of the city. You’ll see some of the city’s most important monuments and elegant historic streets before visiting the Basilica Palladiana, one of Vicenza’s most iconic landmarks. If the Basilica Palladiana is closed, the visit will instead take place at Santa Corona, one of the city’s most important historic churches.

The tour continues to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Monte Berico, located above the city and offering a different perspective on Vicenza and the surrounding landscape.

📍 From Padua. Staying in Padua? We’ll take care of the transportation. We’ll pick you up directly at your hotel or B&B with our minivan, or at the nearest spot outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL). At the end of the tour, we’ll take you back to your hotel. No cars, no parking, and no planning—just enjoy the tour.

Here are the steps for booking:

• From the box on the right side of the page, select the number of participants using the (+) button.
• From the calendar, select your desired date. Available dates are green.
• Select the time*:
  For departures from Abano Terme and Montegrotto, select: 9:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.
  For the meeting point in Padua, select: 9:30 or 2:30 PM.
• Once you’ve selected the time, click “Add to Cart” and then “Go to Cart.”
• Enter your information and proceed to checkout.

• How long does the tour last? From Padua, Abano, and Montegrotto, the tour lasts about 6 hours.
• Is transportation included? Yes. From Padua, Abano, and Montegrotto, pickup and drop-off at your hotel are included.
• What visits are included? The tour includes admission to the Basilica Palladiana. If the Basilica is closed, we’ll visit the Church of Santa Corona.
• Does the tour still take place if it rains? Yes, the tour goes ahead even in the rain. We recommend bringing an umbrella, a waterproof jacket, and comfortable shoes.
• Can this experience be organized for groups or companies? Yes. This experience can also be offered to groups and companies, with the option to customize the itinerary based on the number of participants and the group’s needs. Email us at: info@lovivo.it.

EXPLANATIONS DURING TOURS: Only a licensed tour guide may provide explanations about the city, monuments, and museums. The tour escort, on the other hand, provides assistance and accompanies you to the most beautiful spots in the location chosen for your tour. TRANSFER SERVICE: The customer transfer service, when requested and if operated using the Agency’s own vehicles, is provided as a courtesy and is limited to the operational needs of conducting the tour. For packages that include train tickets: In the event of a public transportation strike, please contact us for alternative solutions or to cancel. If no alternatives are available, we will cancel the tour and issue a refund in advance. The cost of any train tickets already purchased will be retained and will not be refunded. WEATHER: The tour will take place even in bad weather unless the agency decides otherwise to ensure your safety. LANGUAGES SPOKEN DURING TOURS: Tours may be conducted in two languages simultaneously. ADHERENCE TO SCHEDULES AND GROUPS: By confirming your tour reservation, you accept the times indicated in the itinerary; to ensure the tour runs smoothly, it will not be possible to change the schedule unless the tour leader decides otherwise.
