This walking tour in Venice will take you through the narrow and quiet Venetian lanes “calli” between the Sestriere Cannaregio and the Ancient Jewish Ghetto with its Synagogues, the wonderful store windows of the antique dealers and the traditional Jewish stores. During the walk, we can stop for a pleasant gastronomic break, for example to drink an excellent espresso in the small ancient roasters company of the city that has been using the same recipe for almost a century, while all around us we will appreciate the cheerful chatter of the Venetians.

Then we will head towards the beating heart of Venice in the Sestieri of San Polo and San Marco. We will not fail to cross the Rialto Bridge and take a tour of the Rialto Market during the typical morning market.  Finally, we will visit a panoramic terrace from which to appreciate an exclusive view of the Grand Canal.

Ask your guide to recommend the place where you can stop for lunch, among the narrow and intricate streets of Venice hides an ancient “bacaro” where you can enjoy some excellent cicchetti or a small osteria where you can stop for a taste of traditional Venetian dishes.

Finally, continuing our tour in Venice, we will reach Piazza San Marco, surrounded by its main buildings and arrive at the Bridge of Sighs. If you mind we can include also the skip-the-line entrance to the St. Marks’ Basilika. 

In addition, if you want, we can discover together the Sestieri of Dorsoduro and Santa Croce. This is an area little frequented by tourists where we can visit the Basilica della Salute, admire the view of the Grand Canal from the Accademia Bridge, walk in the quiet streets often frequented by students, stop for an aperitif in Campo Santa Margherita.

• From Terme Euganee: includes round trip pick up by car/minivan from your hotel in Abano Montegrotto Terme to the train station and includes the train ticket to Venice.  You will find your guide on board the minivan. Duration about 7 hours transport included.
• No taxi Hotel-Terme Euganee: includes, for round trip, the train ticket to Venice. You will find your guide at the Terme Euganee station. Duration about 6.5 hours including transport.
• From Padua: includes return train ticket from Padua to Venice. You will have to reach Padua station independently. You’ll find your guide on board of the train. Duration about 6 hours transport included.
• From Venice: meet your guide in front of the train station of Venezia Santa Lucia. Duration about 3 hours.

Guaranteed departure with a minimum of 4 paying adults.

EXPLANATIONS DURING THE TOUR: only touristic guides can and are allowed to explain the monuments, the city and the museums. Accompaniers just help you in case you need it or take you to the most beautiful places chosen for your tour.

OPENING TIMES OF THE MONUMENTS: Some monuments are not always open. If you are interested in visiting a special monument, tell us in the moment of request of quotation. In case you don’t asked us, the agency cannot be retained as responsible.

TRANSFER SERVICES: The transfer service for the client, if done with the Minivan of the agency, is included as a transfer service for free and carried out for courtesy only in order to full fill the necessities of the tour. 

WEATHER: The tour takes place even in case of bad weather. If the tour is cancelled it is to protect your safety. The tours to Venice take place even in case of high water.

LANGUAGES SPOKEN DURING THE TOURS: Tours could be held in multiple languages at the same time.
