You will continue your tour of Padua, city of science, by visiting a place of your choice between the Botanical Garden or the MUSME, the Museum of Medicine.
The Botanical Garden dates back to 1545 when it was established as a garden for the cultivation of herbs for therapeutic use and is now the oldest university botanical garden in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The MUSME is the Museum of Medicine of Padua. Under the ancient arcades of Via San Francesco you will find this new, modern and interactive museum of the history of medicine. A project, inaugurated in 2015, that hosts and explains the ancient history of medicine from discipline to modern science in an interactive way and in an exceptional location: the ancient hospital of the city.
