Colli Euganei

The Euganean Hills area consisting of about a hundred reliefs whose height never exceeds 600 meters, which unexpectedly stand out in the heart of the Venetian plain, a few kilometers south of Venice, with their unmistakable conical volumes. Their perfect geometry is the result of volcanic phenomena dating back over 40 million years. The unique geological history of the area has made it possible to form an extraordinary botanical and faunal biodiversity, which since 1989 has been protected by the Euganean Hills Regional Park.

To the landscape charm is added a surprising wealth of cultural heritage, picturesque historic villages, walled cities, villas and castles but also local food and wine excellences, from the finest wine to exclusive culinary specialties.

It is also possible to discover the Euganean Hills by bike along the cycle path of the Euganean Hills, 63 km of flat cycle path or following one of the many trails to discover breathtaking views.
